800 years ago the unequalled founder of the glorious Drikung Kagyü tradition, the exalted Kyobpa Jigten Sumgön displayed how the manifestation of his physical form melted with the dharmadhatu. On the occasion of this anniversary the holder of the practice lineage, Vajradhara Konchok Tenzin Kunzang Thinley Lhundrub (Drikung Kyabgön Chetsang) will visit Germany. Due to repeated requests of Drupon Tsering Rinpoche, H.H. the Drikung Kyabgön Chetsang is going to offer the following program:


Friday, 23.06.
6 pm - 8 pm Public talk on environmental protection, happiness and peace in the 21st century

Saturday, 24.06. Empowerment and teachings in the profound fivefold path of Mahamudra
Out of compassion and wisdom Buddha Shakyamuni gave countless Dharma teachings. They are remedies against all kinds of mental poisons and afflictive emotions.
Gampopa, a disciple of the great Tibetan yogi Milarepa, summerized all this teachings ‑ the teachings of the Sutra as well as the teachings of the Tantra. This essence of all of them is included in the profound fivefold path of Mahamudra. It contains of:
the preliminary practices and cultivation of bodhicitta, pracitice of the yidam, four kaya guru yoga, Mahamudra, the great seal, dedication of merit.
10 am - 12 am Torma empowerment on the fivefold path of mahamudra and mandala offering with the representations of awakened body, speech and mind
02:30 pm - 4:30 pm Teachings on the fivefold path of mahamudra ‑ the extraordinary and profound path of the protector Jigten Sumgön which leads practitioners to the state of Vajradhara in one lifetime
4:30 pm - 5:30 pm Celebration with coffee, cake, dancing and singing
5:30 pm - 7:30 pm Guru Puja Tsok with five Dakinis singing and dancing

Sunday, 25.06. Empowerment and teachings in the Dakini Senge Dongma
Senge Dongma (Skt. Siṃhamukhā) is the lion-faced dakini, the female Dharma-Protector.
In the Nyingma terma tradition, she is considered to be one of the many forms of Guru Rinpoche, specifically a secret form manifested to avert spiritual obstacles and negativity.
In the Sarma traditions she arises out of the Chakrasamvara cycle of tantras and belongs to the Anuttarayoga Tantra.
The practice of Senge Dongma is very powerful and excellent for destroying obstacles in our life, plans, wishes and in the Dharma practice so that they never disturb the tantric practitioner’s health, wellness or spiritual progress.
10 am - 12 am Empowerment of the Dakini Senge Dongma
2:30 pm - 4:30 pm Teachings on the practice of the Dakini Senge Dongma
5 am - 6:30 pm First Drikung Kagyü world peace Monlam in Europe under the guidance of H.H. the Kyabgön Chetsang, Mandala offering with the representations of awakened body, speech, and mind. Farewells.
