One of the great classics of Mahayana Buddhism, The Way of the Bodhisattva (Bodhicharyavatara) is a guide to cultivating the mind of enlightenment, and to generating the qualities of love, compassion, generosity, and patience.

The Gongchig (the 'Single Intention' or 'United Enlightened Thought') is the most characteristic teaching of the glorious Drikung Kagyu lineage and the culmination of Kyobpa Rinpoche's (Jigten Sumgön Rinchen Pal, 1143-1217) study, practice and realization of all the sutra and tantra teachings he received from his teachers (his root guru was Phagmodrupa Dorje Gyalpo, 1110-1170)
