RED CHENREZIG Saturday 27.02.
Red Chenrezig is an Anuttara Yoga Tantra practice and one of the root terma practices at Gargon Monastery in Tibet, it can be traced back to the first Garchen Rinpoche. The Gargon lamas have been dedicated to this practice nonstop year round since the establishment of the monastery 400 years ago. A special prayer wheel spins throughout. According to Guru Padmasabhava's prophecy, Tenzin Phuntsok, the first Garchen Rinpoche, was an emanation of Chenrezig. Furthermore, the prophecy states that he would bring vast benefit to the sentient beings of future generations. The practice is of the father tantra lineage, with an emphasis on the upaya of compassion, completely transforming aggression.

Tsa Lung Tigle is one of the most important yogic methods to harmonize body, mind and the five elements. Through this practice we equilibrate the inner channels, winds und bindus. Tsa stands for the subtile channels, lung for the inner winds and tigle for the drops of vital essence. Tsa lung tigle is a buddhist technique which brings up alertness and supports a generel clarity of the mind. In this practice movements of the body are combined with holding one’s breath. Through this it is possible to dissolve blockages of energetic flow and mental blocks. The exercises support other practices of Vajrayana as well and in a natural way diseases can be prevented and healed.
Saturday. 19.03. – Sunday. 20.03.
Yamantaka is the wrathful manifestation of Manjushri (the bodhisattva of wisdom). Through his enlightened activity he conquers Yama, the Lord of Death, in overcoming ignorance and dualistic appearances. He is also known as a powerful dharma protector.
As a wrathful practice, Yamantaka offers a fast method to overcome obstacles obstructing our dharma practice, especially anger. As it is a very wrathful and powerful deity, the practice has to be done with great diligence.
You can only participate in the practice day or the Yamantaka day retreat if you took part in any Yamantaka Drubchen before or have a confirmation for the upcoming Yamantaka Dubchen 2016 in Munich.
WHITE TARA Retreat with Drubpon Tsering Rinpoche
Thursday 14.04. – Monday 18.04.
The jubilee retreat for the 80th birthday of H. E. Garchen Rinpoche is dedicated to his long life. Tara is the female manifestation of the compassion of all Buddhas. As White Tara she embodies the wisdom aspect of active compassion. She is one of the longlife and protection deities and she helps to increase merits more and more.
We would like to offer a special gift to H. E. Garchen Rinpoche by reciting and accumulating as many White Tara mantras as possible. Please submit the number of your accumulated mantras to the center's office.
The accumulation of White Tara mantras serves also as a preparation for the big longlife ceremony for H. E. Garchen Rinpoche which will take place in October 2016 at DGI. We would already like to kindly invite all Dharma centers and everybody who feels a connection of the heart with Rinpoche and devotion for him. We are looking forward to as much participants from all over the world as possible. More information will follow soon at www.garchen.de.
Wednesday 25.05. – Sunday 29.05.
Manjushri is one of eight Bodhisattvas, representing the Buddhas enlightened qualities. In his orange form, Manjushri represents the wisdom and knowledge of all Buddhas of the ten directions and three times. With his wisdom sword he cuts the root of all suffering and his blazing light dispels the darkness of confusion. As the "King of Harmonious Speech" he, like a thunderclap, awakens those who are sleeping in ignorance and loosens the chains of karma through the sixty branches of harmonious speech.
For those who wish to take part in a Yamanataka Drubchen, participation in the whole Manjushri Retreat is necessary, otherwise it can be taken in parts.
